88 Acres Lodge is nestled in a quaint neighborhood in Big Bear City directly across from a small forest preserve. This two bedroom, one bath lodge is upgraded with granite countertops, large tile floors, high quality carpet, comfortable beds, and a large wood burning fireplace.
Cuddle up next to the fire and watch movies on our 60" flatscreen equipped with a Bose surround sound system. Or stay and relax in the bed and enjoy your choice of Netflix or cable in the bedrooms with the 39" and 47" flatscreen TVs. Wake up to your freshly brewed coffee using the programable coffee pot and sit on the large fenced in patio or deck listening to the birds chirping while enjoying the forest views. You can also enjoy the relaxing hot tub before bed.
88 Acres Lodge has panoramic forest views from every room. Feel free to open the curtains and get ready to feel transported into the middle of your own private oasis. The preserve located directly across from the lodge is a great place for relaxing strolls or for playing in the snow.
Lodge has two comfortable queen size beds. Lodge sleeps 4. All bedrooms and beds are upstairs.

The neighborhood is a nice quiet area that isn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle of town. It allows you to actually escape the city an enjoy the mountains in peace.

I am originally from Athens, Georgia. I moved to California and have been living in San Diego since 2009. Prior to moving San Diego I lived in Los Angeles for 3 years and made some great friends. I love to travel and look forward to the new relationships I will form through Airbnb.
This is my second home not a business, please be respectful and have a good time! Leave the lodge the way you found it. Take trash with you or you can leave a few bags in the trash bids in front of the house. Just make sure the lids are tightly secured and no trash is left out.

-Please be respectful and have a good time! Leave the cottage the way you found it.
-The cleaning fee is for the house keeper to come in and do laundry, replace bedding, vacuum, sweep and wipe down furniture. It is not to wash your dishes and clean up your mess. If house is left in a state that requires additional cleaning then an additional cleaning fee will apply.
-When you leave please wash and put away dishes. Empty all items from refrigerator. Please don't leave any for future guest to use.
-No smoking inside home. A fee of $150 to air purify and rid the house of smoke smell will apply if you do.
-Due to a pet allergies we do not allow pets.
* Check out time is 11am sharp, this is very important. House keeping needs time to prepare the home for the arriving guest. A $50/hour charge will be added to any check outs after 11am that aren't pre-approved by myself. Some times late check out till 1pm is available for additional $50.
**The city of Big Bear limits the number of guests we can have stay in the home to 4 people max. If you have more than 4 people in the home we could lose our lodging license. If we find that you have more than 4 guest, we could ask you to leave, your deposit will be forfeited and or you will be charged an additional $100/per guest per night.
-Bringing a pet without permission from Matt will result in a $250 extra cleaning fee.

I really wish these weren't all things I had to include in the rules, but unfortunately, to many people were being too disrespectful and so I have to outline all the rules now. :-(
WARNING; Use of any hot tub, and/or fireplace carries risk that may result in serious injury or death. NO CHILREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE PERMITTED TO USE THE HOT TUB AT ANY TIME without adult supervision. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist (ACOG) state that becoming overheated in a hot tub is not recommended during pregnancy. Elderly persons and anyone subject to heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure, strokes, epilepsy or similar afflictions should not enter the hot tub without consulting their physician. Never use a spa while under the influence of drugs or alcohol or if you are taking medications of any kind, or being treated for any illness. The spa should be kept at a temperature less than 104 degrees for personal safety and all bathers must shower before and after use to decrease the possibility of skin problems. DO NOT SIT OR WALK ON THE SPA COVER, or it will collapse. Supervise children at all times to decrease risk on injury, death or drowning.
